Richard Ruben is Chief Executive Officer of Ruben Companies. The company has developed major office and residential properties in New York, Washington, D.C. and Boston. Its developments include One Dag Hammarskjold Plaza in New York; Pennsylvania Plaza and Lincoln Square in Washington, D.C.; and Devonshire in Boston. The firm’s latest projects are in the Capitol Riverfront area of Washington, D.C., and include One Hill South, a 380-unit apartment building that was completed in 2017, and 950 South Capitol, a 305-unit apartment building that was completed in 2020.
Richard was the founder of Workspeed Holdings, LLC. Workspeed’s internet-based applications for property management workflow have been used in over 500 million square feet of office properties throughout the United States. He has been an investor in several prominent early-stage technology companies.
Richard currently serves on the Board of Fellows of Weill Cornell Medicine. He is a graduate of Amherst College and Harvard Law School.
