Rusty Lindner

Rusty Lindner is Executive Chairman and CEO of The Forge Co., a private real estate and transportation holding company based in Washington, D.C., whose principal operating units are Colonial Parking Inc. and Washington Boat Lines. Lindner also is CEO of PortfolioFirst Parking Solutions, an international parking asset management firm.

Lindner has been an active leader in civic, educational and philanthropic activities. He has served on the boards of the Federal City Council, Greater Washington Board of Trade FedPAC, the Landon School, the Washington International School, the University of Georgia Foundation, the Terry College Dean’s Advisory Council, Christ Church Georgetown and the Washington Nationals Youth Baseball Academy. He also has served on the boards of various for-profit enterprises, including Friedman Billings & Ramsey, Canal Barge Company, and the SunTrust Metro D.C. Advisory Board.

Lindner earned a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Johns Hopkins University. He then earned a law degree at George Washington University and a master’s degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
