Stephanie Liotta-Atkinson is Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of MidCity Financial Corporation, a Bethesda-based real estate firm specializing in affordable multifamily housing. Stephanie is passionate about affordable housing programs and community development, and her work at MidCity spans corporation operations and governance, asset management, and development.

Prior to joining MidCity, Stephanie served as Vice President and General Counsel at the Menkiti Group, a D.C. based real estate services firm. She also previously worked for the Council of the District of Columbia, where she specialized in affordable housing and economic development policy. Earlier in her career, Stephanie was an associate attorney at Arent Fox in the Corporate and Real Estate Groups. 

Stephanie also serves on the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Washington, D.C. & Northern Virginia and one of the subsidiary boards of the Whitman-Walker Health System responsible for the financing of the Max Robinson Center at the Saint Elizabeths campus.

Stephanie holds a B.A. in Philosophy and Political Science from Mount Holyoke College and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
