Vishal Sharma

Vishal is a neuroscientist and educator, with a background in studying genetics and the development of neural circuits in animal brains. His research interests include science and technology policy, health policy, human behavior and STEM education initiatives. Vishal’s research has been published in science journals such as Genetics and The Journal of Biological Chemistry. He is also the director and co-founder of STEMShip, a non-profit organization working on STEM education outreach in underserved communities in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia.

Vishal has a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from The George Washington University and a B.S. in Biology from the George Washington University. He can be reached at vishal@stemship.org.
