On December 12, 2023, Executive Director Yesim Sayin was quoted by the Washington Business Journal.

“I’m shocked,” said Yesim Sayin, executive director of the D.C. Policy Center, which studies D.C.’s finances and economy. “This is something we would not be able to undo for a very long time. If the teams moved out, we are probably looking at a 30- or 40-year recovery.”
