On February 18, 2021, D.C. Policy Center Executive Director Yesim Sayin Taylor was quoted by the Washington Business Journal:

Yesim Taylor, head of the D.C. Policy Center and before that a longtime staffer in the CFO’s office, believes Mendelson’s assessment is accurate, if for no other reason than the job is an extremely difficult one.

“In that office, on a good day, five terrible things happen,” Taylor said. “It takes not just knowledge, but personality will matter greatly.”
