Jasmine Brann is principal and lead learner of Tyler Elementary in Washington, D.C. Her philosophy of education is grounded in the values of authentic learning and genuine love. She believes firmly that every student deserves access to a high-quality education and that it is incumbent upon educators and school communities to equip learners with tools for lifelong success.

Dr. Brann holds a Bachelor of Arts from Howard University, a Master of Arts from University of Maryland, and a Doctorate in Education from Bowie State University.
