On August 31, 2025, a D.C. Policy Center report was cited in The Boston Globe:

In a study published this month, the nonpartisan D.C. Policy Center underscores the point: “In many cases, more educated and wealthier tenants benefit disproportionately from rent control,” the center’s researchers write, “while lower-income tenants — who need the support the most — are left out.”
